A quick summary…

I go by my middle name, always have. I thoroughly enjoy creating digital worlds and experiences, but in my free time I spend as much time in nature as I can. Though a large portion of my work is supervising workflows, I try to tap into the creative as often as possible. Designing truly immersive experiences for others is the most fulfilling work I have ever done.

I have done a little travelling so far in life. I grew up in Colorado Springs, CO and went to college in Kansas City, MO at the Kansas City Art Institute. Though my work wound up not being classified as fine art, I learned a great deal about taking constructive criticism and how to present my work.

After college I worked in Japan teaching English to children 0-14. I was able to learn conversationally learn Japanese, and become fully immersed in living there. Teaching was an amazing experience, and any chance I get to train others in my craft is one I take. I believe in us all showing each other the best way forward.

A year and a half later I traveled to LA, where I worked as a dog handler for 7 months while sleeping on a good friends sofa. Applying to jobs constantly, it wound up being another good friend who had a friend who needed some 3D work done. I applied, and that is where I have worked for the past 5 years. I have learned an immense amount about the industry working at Pure Imagination, and look forward to applying that knowledge to whatever comes next in life.
